The City of Calistoga is celebrating Earth Week with several educational events designed to promote eco-conscious, low-impact lifestyles.

Green and Solar Fair—Saturday, April 17, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Pioneer Park, 308 Cedar Street

On April 17, Calistoga is sponsoring a fair featuring food, music and displays by vendors who provide green products and services.  

Solar Tours— Saturday, April 17

On April 17, Calistoga will also offer tours of several different solar panel systems and the opportunity to ask questions about their feasibility and benefits.  

Speaker Series—April 12 to April 29

Calistoga will present a series of talks on sustainability topics on April 12, 13, 15, 21 and 29. Most of the talks will be held at the Calistoga Community Center, 1307 Washington Street, starting at 7 p.m. A free raffle for local products and services will be held at each workshop.

  • April 15: “Saving Energy One Door at a Time—Residential Weatherization”
  • April 21 “Creating a Sustainable Local Food System”
  • April 29: “Global Warming and the Generation Shift” (Calistoga High School Gym)
