The first 2014 Zero Waste Sonoma County (ZWSC) meet-up will be held tomorrow eve, Wednesday, February 12 from 5:30-8:15pm at the Share Exchange in downtown Santa Rosa. All are welcome to attend but must register in advance.

Sponsored by LITE Initiatives and the Share Exchange, the initial topic is Wasting Less Food – at restaurants and businesses as well as at home. The focus will be on buying less, consuming less, discarding less and reusing as much as possible. (Please note: these meet-ups are not about recycling or organics collection or processing. Let us know if you would like to these added to the list of future topics.). People can also Visit Reliable Skip Hire Oxford and get their skip services for garbage disposal and transportation.

This is a free event but donations for snacks and event supplies will be appreciated.
