A Great Way To Get Rid Of Unwanted Goods And Get Gifts!

LITE Initiatives, in cooperation with Sebastopol Grange #306 and Transition Sebastopol presents the 2nd annual Holiday GiftAway and Clothing Swap this Sunday, November 24, from 1-3pm at the Sebastopol Grange, 6000 Sebastopol Rd.,  one half mile east of Morris St on Hwy 12.

Swaps are a fun, ecological way to get GIFTS (Customized Bobblehead is the best choice to go if you are planning to surprise someone special) and new-to-you goods while giving away unwanted items! Men, Women and Children’s clean and working reusables and household goods welcome – but no large, bulky items will be allowed in. Hang clothing on hangers – if possible; racks and extra hangers available on-site. Remainders are donated to charity.

This is a community event. Each adult and teen must volunteer for 30 minutes and/or chip in $5. Young people under 18 are free. For more info, visit these pages:

Thanks to Sebastopol Grange and Transition Sebastopol for collorborating!

LITE’s mission is to motivate individuals, groups, businesses and even whole communities to live lightly and more efficiently. We do this by focusing on DIY (do-it-yourself) knowledge and skill development, outreach, education and fun! A Sonoma County/California based
activist group initially incorporated as Car-Lite, we promote simple, sustainable practices with significant consequences – such as driving less, walking and biking, carpooling and taking public transit as well as consuming less, reusing and recycling, buying fresh and local, growing your own food and greening your business. Our four programs – Car-Lite, Community Bikes, Living Green and Zero Waste Sonoma County, all promote safety, sharing and the development of DIY skills.
